Polar
(Written by Elaine Moss)
When Polar the teddy bear sees the room covered in white dustsheets he thinks of snow – and longs to go tobogganing. He is warned by the other toys but Polar is headstrong: ‘the sledge hits a hump and Polar comes tumbling down, down, bump, down like a lump of timber.’
Polar limps around on crutches and his chair is full of presents from his friends. All ends happily with a tea party.
